Summary:
Greg is a porter at the Shepton Hotel in New York. After work, he always goes for a coffee across the street. One day, Greg meet Cassie. Cassie has beautiful green eyes. She doesn’t look very happy. She is in trouble. She is an artist. Her stepfather has her sketchbooks, and she wants them back. Her stepfather is staying at the Shepton Hotel. Greg decides to help Cassie. Greg can get the sketch books and he hands Cassie the sketchbooks. She leaves. However, He is deceived by her. The sketchbooks is Jake Russo. Jake Russo doesn’t have a wife or a stepdaughter. Greg has to find that girl and get the sketchbooks before the police find him. He runs away from the police and looks for Cassie. He finds her and takes the sketchbooks from her. Greg apologizes to Jake Russo and returns the sketchbooks to him. Jake Russo says ‘It’s OK,’ and ‘But stay away from girls with beautiful green eyes!’

Key points about the book:
Cassie has beautiful green eyes. It is thought that “green” is color, leads to misfortune in Medieval Europe. This custom remains deeply rooted at present. Therefore, Jake Russo says ‘Stay away from girls with beautiful green eyes!’

My opinion:
I don’t know the reason why the book emphasizes the phrase of green eyes. However, I google about green and understood it. I was surprised to learn it. I thought that green is used in a variety of situations. For example, Shrek and the blood of Predator and Alien, Hulk, MASK and so on.  They are monsters and mystery men and to be related to it.
